We already had the magic bullet and love it so we got our daughter one for her birthday. She loves it also, except her daughter (she's eight) loves it even more.
It doesn't chop or dice or slice etc. It basically is just a small blender. But it is very very convenient. I make my son a smoothie every day and it is so much more convenient to clean. It's also lighter weight and easier to store. My first one finally burned out and I am buying a new one. Granted, I used it every day sometimes twice a day, so after 2 years, I am not upset that I have to buy a new one. I highly recommend it for a small, low capacity blender, but don't expect to be able to chop veggies or make salsas etc. It is what it is and does a great job at that. I can't live without it.

Oh, also, it makes good whipped cream. Just don't whip too long, or you get butter.
I was so excited to get this!
I make a vegetable soup each week and do a lot of chopping. So I hoped this would replace that. Nope! Started with celery... I had to keep stopping every two seconds and shake the pieces down to the bottom of the cup. I tried cutting it up into smaller chunks first (and really, what's the point?) and that didn't work either. By the time the blades actually touched every piece of veggie, it was mush. Stupid!

The magic Bullet is a wonderful addition to anyones kitchen. It is easy to use and takes up very little space in my kitchen. We use it to make all kind of different health drinks, iced coffe and smoothies. I enjoy mixing protien shakes with crushed ice to make delicious frosty drinks. I am thinking about purchasing another one to have at my workplace.
I just made my first smoothie in the Magic Bullet Express and it was was easy, quick and delicious. The Bullet had no trouble with the frozen berries, protein powder and milk. The Bullet is very easy to use and very easy to clean. I just put it in my dishwasher. It's much more convenient that pulling out my large blender to make one smoothie. However, if you're going to made two or more smoothies, you'll have to make them one at a time as even the large cup is pretty small. It is a great product and I recommend it for quick, easy and delicious, albeit smaller, servings.

I first bought one in 2006, to make smoothies, and it has been working fine ever since. We make smoothies about 5 times a week, and it blends through frozen mixed berries with no problems at all. Clean up is easy, as the motorized top easily detaches from the blender blade. The blender cup is a convenient measuring cup, after 2 years it is getting a bit scratched, but the blender is still going strong. Recently gave one as a gift -- was a big hit. It is one of the most useful kitchen gadget and for a great price!
I had this for about 2 months. In that time it was great! I used it to make shakes just about every morning. If that had continued I'd easily give it 5 stars. Unfortunately it didn't. A little plastic piece sheared off. I did use things like frozen fruit in it, but their own recipes use ice so I figured that wouldn't be a problem. But, that was apparently too much for it.

It was still under warranty, but they request $10 for return shipping. Which in addition to the estimated $8-10 of shipping that I'd have to pay to get it to them is 2/3 of the original price paid ($30 with free shipping). So at this point it seems like a better idea to just go try a different model perhaps from a different manufacturer.
We make yogurt smoothies every morning with frozen fruit. We've tried blenders (too big for 3 smoothies, too annoying to clean all the parts). We went with the food processor for a while (too big, hard to clean, and it's disturbing to blend your food in that toxic nalgene-type plastic each morning). Then we went to the magic bullet, which was a nice size, yet it was that bad kind of plastic again, and it never really got clean in all the nooks and crannies. Thankfully the magic bullet broke after about a year of use and as we shopped around for different options we came across this, most wonderful thing. We blend our smoothies right in the glasses we drink out of. It's SO easy to clean. I also use this to make hummus, blend soups right in the pot, AND make pesto (containing walnuts)! It's so small and compact to store right in the knife drawer. Best purchase of a small appliance ever.
The coupling that is inside the motor body housing broke after only 7 months use and we did not put excessive wear on it. Cuisinart must know this thing is a piece of junk, because it has a 3 year warranty. They make you pay shipping to return it and shipping and handling to get another one.
My take, do not buy this.

WOW, this is an exceptional tool. I have owned a Braun, Rival, Sunbeam and an Oster all of which failed within a year or less, the Oster being by far the worse. I was so surprised that this blender was so powerful, even on ice mixed with liquid. The biggest surprise was that after you are done blending you just leave the blender in the cup and push a button to release the lower half of the unit making it totally mess free moving it to the sink for easy clean up! I didn't expect that feature and I would have chosen it just for that feature had I known. This unit is light and very powerful far better then any other brand I have tried. In this price range this is the only choice, I can't imagine any blender even in the over 100 dollar range working any better. Get it you will love it!

UPDATE:I've now owned this for several months and use it several times a day and I still give it TEN STARS!

I'll admit it, the first time I used this product, I was pretty darn impressed. I spend a lot of time barefoot outside, and while I clean my feet every day I tend to get small (but annoying nonetheless) callouses in the same two spots on both feet. Using the Ped Egg, it didn't take long to get them off, and it was the first time I realized that I do indeed have nice feet when the callouses are gone! However, I noticed a heavy decrease in performance the second time around...and the third time I tried using the Ped Egg, it didn't work at all.

I'm definitely not in a position to spend $10 every time I want to use a foot file, so I opted to purchase one from the dollar store down the street rather than purchase blade refills. The verdict? They work the same! The only advantage of the Peg Egg was the shape of the casing, which made the file much easier to hold.

Also, the file from the dollar store actually kept the skin flakes inside like it was supposed to. Sorry Ped Egg, but not matter WHAT angle you file your foot at, flakes are falling everywhere and it's disgusting. Heck, I even tried using it upside down, so that the blades were pointed upwards, thinking there was no way they wouldn't end up inside the Peg Egg now... I was wrong. Am I the only one whose filed callous flakes miraculously defy gravity?
Pedegg wrecked my and my husband's feet. We were so happy the first day we tried it. We saw the shavings come off and our feet get smoother. Then it all went bad. Maybe we overdid it, but parts of our feet got delicate and red. Months later, our feet are rougher than they've ever been.
It did exactly what it said. It got rid of any roughness on my feet quickly. Very easy to use and it catches the filings so you don't make a mess. I did not have any problems with roughness as some of the other reviewers did. I found that it left my feet perfectly smooth. Simply use as instructed. I finish off with a foot moisturizer for good measure. It kept my feet looking great all summer!
This is not at all what I thought it would be. This was a true waste of my money and in these economic hard times that just makes me mad!
Finally a product that lives up to its' commercials! Have turned many people onto the PedEgg, and they are all extremely grateful. Wish I had invented it. See mega sales on this one!

I was introduced to this product while touring the wine country in California. I could not believe how well the Vinturi Wine Aerator worked. By using this product, red wine poured directly from the bottle blossomed with more intricate flavors. The fruits of the wine leap out while the tannens are soften. I've decantered wine and never had the results I have had with this product. I would have never believed the results had I not done the taste test myself.
I highly recommend this product.

This little gadget in incredible! My sister visited a winery in Wisconsin and came back raving about this thing. I ordered it from my favorite place and got it today. I bought a bottle of red wine to try it out. (Despite getting a wine appreciation book for Christmas, I do not like any red because of the tannins.) Holy cow! This little thing makes all the difference in the world!!! The tannins are diminished and the wine is so good!! I can't wait to see what effect it has on a white. A bargain for the money!
Product really works. We did a taste comparison and you can tell the difference. Speeds up the aeration process by at least 30 minutes. A bit pricy but a neat gadget.
